Great food, My cat seems to like the Organics.

When the pet food recall came to light last year, I lost my dog Maverick, 13 yrs old. All my animals had been on "premium" or "natural" pet foods. So the search began for certified, organic canned cat food by a company in no way affiliated with the recall. I spent days and searched hundreds of sites and read thousands of ingredients and label claims. I found one that had to be imported and became pricey. My cats are older - Saphena, 13 & Morgan 9. Over the years both have developed very sensitive stomachs. As an active cat show exhibitor under the auspices of The Cat Fancier Association, the largest cat registry in the world since 1993, I have always been interested in feline nutrition. I just wanted to remark that you are definitely on the right track with your canned feline diets. The latest research on cat foods produced today show that we are feeding our felines way too much carbohydrates which they do not need – cats are true carnivores as you must know. Your canned foods are great because they do not contain the dreaded potato/rice/fruit combinations that many top of the line canned foods do.
I breed and show Abyssinians and while I am a small breeder, I have been successful with my cats. Over the years, I have tried many different kinds of diets, after reading Dr. Hodgkins’ recent book I was more determined than ever to find the right kind of canned food diet to feed my Abys. We have found a pet food our cats love! When we would feed them regular cat food and put the rest of the wet food in the fridge for the next day, it smelled and they would turn away from it. I have to thank you for the organics cat food. I honestly thought I was going to have to put my cat down she was so miserable. She was constantly throwing up her food. The vet just gave me antibiotics and had me keep her on a laxative - all to no avail. I tried all the natural cat foods out there (I really did!) and nothing helped. I saw your food (I think it is the only one I had not tried!) and decided to try just one more time. She is not the same cat! No more vomiting. I mean NONE! Molly is a rescued 2 year black lab/boxer mix. She has a very sensitive stomach and cannot tolerate foods with corn or wheat. In the 2006 cat food recall the food I was feeding my cats was on the list. Mr. Buttons became VERY ill and almost died at the vet's. They told me it wasn't due to the food, however, he had been a very healthy cat up to then and has been in renal failure ever since. He went from a 11 year old, 14.5 lb healthy cat down to 7.5 lbs. I desparately looked for healthier foods for both Mr. Buttons and Mr. Bows, but wasn't very satisfied with all the ingredients. Who has ever seen a cat race to a brown rice paddy to eat!? Mr. Buttons LOVES the chicken and mackeral and he's gotten himself up to 10 lbs. Along with your excellent food and the liquid zeolite I gave him to take out the toxins, he's behaving like a 3 year old!. He's 13 years old now and I hope to have him around for a few more Christmases. He's the comedian in the family and the smartest cat I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Having been in the pet food/supply industry as well as being a mom to seven dogs, I spend a lot of time reading lebels and finding a food the meets and/or exceeds my standards as well as finding one all of my dogs will enjoy. I also have strict ingredient guidelines that I want met but at a price that I can feed all seven dogs!! I love your Organic and 95% can lines. These stack up to other comparable companies quite well and are every bit as good if not better ingredient and taste wise at quite an affordalbe price. My dogs love your 95% Beef and 95% Chicken. Your 100% Organic Chicken and Turkey is amazing for the price you pay, plus according to the dogs-quite tasty!
I find it a huge relief that I don't need to drive to out of the way places to get quality canned dog food when I can just go to my local Kroger and get a great quality dog food and prices that make me my dogs happy and healthy!

After losing our beloved boxer Bubba from old age,our hearts needed to love again. We rescued Buster, another boxer who came into our home with severe allergies to wheat and corn. His current food (precription) wasn't helping him. We tried various organic and wheat free foods, but still he itched and his stool was runny. When I was choosing out dog food to get for my new dog, I searched and searched through the isles, taking forever. All the other brands of dog food, all the so-called "top brand" dog food, had nasty things like by-product and wheat and food coloring. Our dog Coco had horrible flaky, dry and itchy skin and with a almost all black coat, it really showed, not to mention her discomfort from having to scratch continuously. I have an elderly cat who is 16 years old. I had noticed he was losing weight and his fur was very dull. He seemed to have problems jumping and keeping his balance.
